The purpose of Rock Lane’s grief ministry is to help those who are dealing with the loss of a loved one. Our Mourning Comfort group consists of six ninety-minute sessions, which will be held weekly. This year’s schedule will be in September/October, beginning on September 19th. We will meet on Monday evenings at 6 p.m. The sessions will focus on the idea that grief shared is grief diminished. We will learn ways to cope with the emotions that can seem overwhelming. These sessions are open to adults (men and women) who are struggling with the loss of someone they love – spouse, parent, child, grandparent, friend, etc. Anyone who has been through the group is invited to come again, either for yourself or to be of support for the other people involved. You will need to register for Mourning Comfort so we will be able to prepare the proper amount of materials.
