On Sunday mornings at 9:00 am, we meet in the youth area for Sunday school. (You can enter through the RSM entrance) We dive into Scripture together and discuss how it applies to our lives. Most importantly, we have coffee and snacks as well.
On Sunday nights, our high schoolers meet for worship, a message, small group discussion and just hanging out with one another from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm
On Tuesday nights, our middle schoolers meet for worship, a message, small group discussion and just hanging out with one another from 6:00 pm-7:30 pm. The difference between this and high school is that this is focused on middle schoolers
About RSM:
"Rocklane Student Ministry"
Here, at Rocklane, our core value number 5 is that the youth are the heartbeat of the church. Rocklane Student Ministry does not take that lightly. RSM is devoted to teaching students to take ownership of their faith while raising them up to be future church leaders.
RSM has two different passages of Scripture that drive our ministry.
- Matthew 22:36-40 Jesus said, “Teacher, which is the most important commandment in the law of Moses?” Jesus replied, “‘You must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, and all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. A second is equally important: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ The entire law and all the demands of the prophets are based on these two commandments.”
- Matthew 28:19 “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”
We not only need to love God and others, but go and make disciples. We need to share the love of God with others while teaching them who He is.
Rocklane Student Ministry is a place where you can be transparent about your life, faith, and struggles. We are a group of people just trying to live life together and follow Christ. If you seek connection with other people and God, this is the place for you. We look forward to meeting you!
