CARE GROUPS

Life can be hard. We all encounter struggles and challenges that leave us feeling overwhelmed and broken. Our Care Ministry is here to support you through those struggles and equip you to handle them in a way that draws you closer to God. We seek to serve all members and attendees of Rocklane by providing multiple avenues to get you connected to people who can help you through those struggles or challenges.  Contact our Care Ministry at rocklane@rocklanechristian.org

  • Grief Ministry

The purpose of Rocklane's  grief ministry is to help those who are dealing with the loss of a loved one. The Mourning Comfort group consists of four sessions.    These sessions focus on the idea that grief shared is grief diminished.  Information will be given so that a person can learn to cope with the emotions that seem overwhelming.

  • The Ruth Connection

Our widow's group is designed for ladies who have lost their spouse.  They gather each second Saturday of the month for a time of fellowship and fun.  Activities have included:  going out for lunch, visiting a local flower farm, shopping, game day, pitch-in's, etc.  Check the calendar for more specifics.

  • Pursuing Hope Support Group

Life is hard. Sometimes even the most dedicated Christ-followers find themselves suffering from depression, anxiety, worry or plain old “gloom and doom.” Pursuing Hope Support Group exists to help people see the light in the darkness. If you are going through a time of darkness, for whatever reason, Jesus, the Lighthouse, is still there. Meet with us and together we will guide each other through the darkness to the Lighthouse.
